Tucked away in a quiet Ann Arbor neighborhood, Jefferson Market is a delightful corner cafe that feels both timeless and alive. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by warm wood floors, vintage kitchen decor, and a bustling open kitchen behind the counter. It’s got that rare small-town energy—relaxed but efficient. We came for brunch and ordered huevos rancheros, the classic biscuit breakfast plate, a latte and a raspberry biscuit sandwich. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and well-balanced. The huevos rancheros had rich flavors with just the right amount of heat and crunch. The biscuit plate came with golden potatoes, perfectly cooked sunny-side eggs, and a generous slab of sausage—comfort food done right. The mini biscuit sandwich was a lovely sweet-savory treat, buttery and soft without being heavy. Service was cheerful and casual. You order at the counter and find your own seat, but the staff check in on you and keep things moving. The cafe fills up fast on weekends, but the line moves quickly. It’s clearly a favorite for families, students, and longtime locals. Highly recommend for a relaxed weekend brunch. This is one of those places that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood, even if you’re just passing through.

Holy smokes, was this a cool joint! Great sausage and lattes. I got the egg and cheese biscuit and adding sausage was the way to go. The outside seating is quaint in a cute little garden area out back - like having breakfast in a friend's backyard! We showed up just in time because after we got thru the line, the place exploded with customers, and it is clear from the tasty food and cool atmosphere why!

This place was great. They were able to accommodate our party of 7 (in a very small place). The food was incredible: fesh, hot, spicy (breakfast burrito w chorizo for me). Standard items to unique items, this place has it. They were incredibly efficient. As soon as we sat down at our table (after placing our order at the counter), our drinks arrived at the table. Within 5 minutes, all of our food was on the table. I've never seen anything like it. And again, the food was amazing. Next time I'm in Ann Arbor, I'm definitely coming back.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Ann Arbor. The food is always amazing! It's just a small space so there isn't always seating inside. Saturday and Sunday mornings can get pretty busy unless you get there right when they open.

I LOVE Jefferson Market. The food, the vibe, the neighborhood feel, and the lovely kind staff are all five stars. I adore the classic breakfast items and literally have dreams about the fries and curry ketchup. The coffee refills make me feel like I'm in the cozy '90s again. The ONLY downside is that it's so popular. A weekend breakfast/lunch service will see a line looping through the restaurant waiting to order, which makes it feel a bit overwhelming inside. A good problem for the restaurant but a minor dampener on the atmosphere and dining experience.

What a cool place! Middle of the block across from the elementary school we almost missed it. Great breakfast for 3! Avocado toast on amazing bread with olive oil. Eggs cooked perfectly with fresh biscuits and homemade sausage. We loved the strong coffee (and we’re picky). Super friendly service. Bit loud - would benefit from some acoustic materials. Baked goods looked great.
